The Russians Are Coming

FIRECRACKER FILMS has received an 8-part series order from National Geographic US on New York-based Russians. The series will be filmed in Brighton Beach, New York, the highest concentrated area of Russians in the US, and will follow the fortunes, failures and false starts of an interconnected group of Russian-Americans, as they strive to find their own American Dream. The series will air in the US in Fall 2012.

Nat Geo commissions Military Antiques series

FIRECRACKER FILMS is in production for a 10-part series for National Geographic US, based upon International Military Antiques (IMA), New Jersey.
The series follows the largest military antiques company in the world, as as they set about tracking down, buying and selling some of America’s most extraordinary pieces of military memorabilia.
Following the father and son who run the company, this stylish docu-series will use dramatic reconstruction in bringing to life the history behind some of the most sought after and unique souvenirs of war, ranging from the Civil War to Vietnam.

Big Fat Gypsy Weddings is now a smash hit all around the world. In the United States it doubled TLC’s prime time viewership averaging a huge 1.8 million viewers . It is the highest rated show ever on the Lifestyle You network in Australia and attracted a whopping 32% share on TVNZ in New Zealand.
