A post announcing the start of the show at 9pm on Tuesday 25th has been viewed over 140,000 times with an incredible average feedback rate of 94% during TX.

The first episode of ‘Big Fat Gypsy Weddings’ is now confirmed at 8.2 million viewers.
It’s the highest rating documentary ever on Channel 4 and the 10th highest rated programme in the history of the channel.

‘My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding’ one off programme from 2010 has been nominated for ‘Best Documentary Programme’ at the Broadcast Awards 2011. The competition is strong but we will have our fingers and toes crossed at the awards on the 2nd Feb.
