Mania is a 3 x 60′ highly visual series that looks inside the mind of the maniac and attempts to understand the overwhelming impulses that can take over the body.
To represent the idea that maniacs are walking among us, the opening titles were shot in HD using the Panasonic Varicam, then using a green screen on location, individual characters were separated from their surroundings before individual frames were painted on in After Effects.
The finished title sequence & graphics package were cut together using Final Cut Pro before being graded on a Pogle system.
