We are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new Scottish division.
Based in Glasgow's Ingram Street, next door to our sister companies Mentorn Scotland and Sunset+Vine, Firecracker Scotland will see us continue our investment in local talent to produce outstanding popular factual programming.
Elspeth O'Hare will lead the division as Firecracker Scotland's Creative Director. Elspeth was previously Head of Documentaries at IWC, where she built a slate of programming that includes Britain's Benefit Tenants (Channel 4), Insane Fight Club (BBC One) and Big Body Squad (Channel 5).
She is joined by Producer Jennifer Gilroy, who has developed successful commissions for the BBC, C4 and C5 and recently series produced The Council (BBC).
The team are already in advanced negotiations with Channel 4 about an innovative factual-entertainment format to be produced out of Scotland.
