Firecracker's sex formats, Mums Make Porn and The Sex Clinic, which aired last year on Channel 4 and E4 respectively have been remade in Germany.
German network Sat.1 aired its local version of Mums Make Porn earlier this week, produced by Red Arrow-backed label Redseven Entertainment.
The second episode of the show will be followed by a linear TX of the porn film that the team of mums made during the programme.
Meanwhile, RTL is soon to feature Sex Clinic on SVoD TVNow, having licensed the show in 15 territories including Denmark, Australia and New Zealand.
Mums Make Porn and The Sex Clinic aired to consolidated 28-day audiences of 1m (6.9%) and 370,000 (5.6%) respectively in March and August 2019 – playing out in 10pm and 11pm slots.
Firecracker chief creative officer Jes Wilkins hailed both programmes for “demonstrating a similar combination of jaw-dropping factual entertainment and serious journalistic purpose”.
