It has been announced today that Firecracker Films has been shortlisted for the Broadcast Media Awards 2019.
Firecracker have been nominated in the Best Popular Factual Documentary category for Emma Willis: Delivering Babies. The series documented Emma’s training to be a Maternity Care Assistant (MCA), working ten hour shifts on the ward, cleaning beds and taking blood pressure. The UKTV Original was a stand-out hit for W and became the channel’s most-watched series of 2018, and is returning to the W Channel for an extended series later this year, as well as a one-off special revisiting some of the stories from Series 1 which airs on Monday 27th May on W. This is Firecracker's second nomination after being nominated for Class of Mum and Dad in the Factual Entertainment features category for RTS Scotland.
