Mums Make Porn picks up nomination at 2020 Realscreen Awards

It was announced yesterday that Mums Make Porn has been nominated at the 2020 Realscreen Awards!

Firecracker's critically acclaimed Mums Make Porn documentary series for Channel 4 is nominated in the Reality: Constructed Reality category.

Originally airing in March this year, the series followed a group of ordinary British mums with teenage children, as they researched the world of modern, free, explicit online pornography and its potential impact on the next generation. They then set about producing their own film: a film which not only works as pornography but promotes healthy attitudes towards sex and relationships, and highlights exactly how they wanted to handle the issues that matter to them most as parents, whether body image, consent, or ethnic diversity.

The ceremony takes place on 28th January in New Orleans, as part of the Realscreen 2020 Summit.

Congratulations to all involved and for your hard work on the show!
