Amanda Sheldrake

Legal and Business Affairs Manager

Amanda began her career in local commercial radio as a presenter at the height of 90s Britpop. She joined the BBC as a Paralegal in 2002 and progressed to Legal and Business Affairs Manager.  Amanda has 16 years’ experience across a variety of media, including radio, live events, feature documentary, specialist factual, factual, children’s, and music.  Prior to joining Firecracker, Amanda worked for Arrow Media, where she advised on many hours of science, history, current affairs and factual entertainment programming. She worked on the first live documentary broadcast from the International Space Station ‘Live from Space’, the legally complex ‘Modern British Slavery’ and the feature documentary ‘Sherpa’.

Amanda wanted to join Firecracker after watching “Secret Life of Human Pups” and she joined our team in 2016.

In addition to her legal career, Amanda is a keen equestrian, drummer and ex-burlesque performer.
