In this 90 minute documentary Dr Christian Jessen and Dr Amir Khan are on a mission to find the secrets hidden in urine. In four ‘pee pod’ locations set up across the country they take samples from the residents, identifying those that are in need of a serious change in their lifestyle and setting them a treatment plan.
The programme teams up with Aberystwyth University, where leading scientists are continually developing markers to identify anything from pollution to our diet, all from one sample of urine. This is a health check up on a national scale.
