HSBC, a Stonewall Top 100 Employer, wanted to show its support for Pride with a campaign looking at Pride's origins and how much society has changed since the first Pride march in 1972.
We cast two men with perfectly contrasting Pride stories: Andrew Lumsden, 75, a prominent activist who attended the first Pride march in 1972; Jamie Raines, 23, a well-known transgender vlogger who featured in the Firecracker documentary Girls To Men (C4) and attended Pride for the first time last year.
Working with directing duo Trunk, we created a 3' hero film, shot vertically for a mobile-first audience, which we also cut down to a 60" edit and a series of 15" edits. These were shared on HSBC UK’s social channels in the run-up to and during Pride London 2017.
